Other network on bill

I recently got itemised billing and have recently noticed someone I call frequently, who I know to be on EE, sometimes shows as EE but sometimes shows as ‘other network’.

purely out of curiosity, does anyone know why that is?

I'm not sure why this would happen.

Do you always call using normal voice calls, or are you using another function?

Does it make a difference if it's an inbound or outbound call?
