Hi

So I've had my phone for nearly a year,(nothing 3a) and no updates, and nobody in store or on the phone knows what to do, obviously there has been no security updates since February last year, and android 16, maybe it's time to change my phone to one that does get updates.and cancel my contract

How to Get Updates
  1. Go to Settings > System > System Updates.
  2. If an update is available, it will appear here for download.
  3. Updates are usually distributed in phases, so if it does not appear immediately, check back in a few days.

As mentioned it’s nothing to do with EE as EE don’t manufacture the device or the OS on the device.  You need to speak with Nothing if your device is not receiving any OS updates.  But you need to check and install these yourself

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi @Lord1977

Phones are updated directly by the manufacturer not EE.

This is the risk you run buying a handset from a smaller brand.

Thanks

Are there any specific security risks that you're particularly concerned about?
