If on contract, as @BrendonH , has mentioned, have you kept up with payments?

Is this just in one location or everywhere? If in one location, have you checked whether there is a problem where you are? You can do this here, report it and receive updates when you register:

Have you checked whether there is a problem with your SIM card or phone? Try a reboot, also check whether your phone is in flight mode, as that will stop you receiving and making calls.
