Hi!

I will be relocating to Australia for at least 2 years in January, however still have 17 months remaining on my contract. What options do I have? Is there any way of taking my contract with me?

thanks!

Abbie

Hi @Abbieluisa. 🙂

You can take it with you and we have some great smart benefits/add-ons to use your phone in Australia, but there are some terms around using your phone abroad for an extended period of time.

A lot of people tend to do a 'change of ownership' where you give your contract and phone to a friend or family member who take over the contract and payments.

You can either:

  • Cancel it & with 30 days notice & pay off the remaining term. You will be liable to pay early termination fees for the rest of the term. It will basically be months left x monthly charge - 4%.
  • Keep paying for it & use it at roaming rates while you are in Oz. Those will basically be £10 pm.
