I recently upgraded my phone in store, which advertised oppo X5 light and free headphones and watch, on setting up the phone I found out the deal has expired. I only really went with the phone for the deal, the store is saying I can't return and on the phone are not interested because its in store. They also said the contract would be 50 a month unless I got a tablet then it would be 37, looking online this seems extremely high as even on EE online the phone is only 37, seems like a complete con and no one is willing to help. Surly this falls under consumer rights as miss sold

@bmorton06 Where did you see this offer because it’s not advertised HERE and that tariff you had was your choice you don’t have to have what’s being offered as there are a few tariff to choose from.

It was EE Southampton, they had a large poster displaying the deal, I rang them today and they just said

@bmorton06 , Unfortunately, you will have to go back to the store, as they are the ones, who sold it to you and argue it out. You should have made sure that the offer was still available and not expired or about to. It could be that they had not taken the poster down yet, always best to double check things.

I agree I have to go back and argue it however I disagree with its my job to check a deal, if I point a deal in a shop and sold it then it's there job to know the ins and outs, displaying a offer that doesn't exist is false advertisment and mis leading. The poster was still up today when I rang he said he was going to take it down now. So I expect they will have a few more complaints by now

@bmorton06 Was there any small print on the poster about the offer. Ie any time frames there usually is.
