Minimum time on sim only contract before I can upgrade

Hi.  I am thinking about changing my contract to a sim only contract - I am due an upgrade but there are no new phones out I like at the moment.  Is there a minimum time before I would be able to change to a sim + phone contract?

If you change from a phone-plan to a SIM-only plan, you can change back to a phone plan anytime you like.
