Microsoft charges

My son has over £650 of charges on his EE account for Microsoft. The EE account was suspended so I paid the bill as mine and my wife's phone is  also linked to the account. Microsoft have declined all refund requests except for £177 which will be returned to payment method which was the phone bill. But I can't see this refund on my EE account anywhere. How does this work please? @

On my Bill it is showing in credit and refunds online but I am still being asked to cover the original bill. Even though the refund amount is higher than the bill due. I called the helpline and was told there was no refunds credited to my account.

How can I resolve this

Hi how did you get Microsoft to do this and how long did it take? I’ve been chasing the escalation team for the same thing at Microsoft for over a month and all I keep getting told that there’s no update. Any help will be greatly appreciated
