@Charliebrown6 You can only lower the price if you’re within your upgrade period. Other than this, you will have to pay off the remaining term of your contract period in order to upgrade to a cheaper tariff rate.
Your post is entitled "cheaper option" but without any further details of what services you have. For example, do you have mobile phones or home broadband?
No-one can sensibly advise in anything more than vague terms without this.
