Is there a way to see what numbers have called you and you have answered on your phone bill? Or does the bill only show outgoing calls? I’m in a controlling relationship and my partner doesn’t like me talking to anyone and I received a call today from my friend and we spoke for a long time and I’m worried he will see this call

Welcome to the Community, @Helloyou123.
I really appreciate your courage in reaching out to us about what must be such an awful situation.
If you ever feel you're in imminent danger here, we would always recommend contacting the police on 999.
There's help and support available for these kind of scenarios too, so if you feel you can do so safely it's definitely worth checking out some of the options listed here:
Domestic violence and abuse - getting help - Citizens Advice.
As @bristolian mentioned, it's my understanding that itemised bills would only show calls that you have dialled from your end rather than received.
Deleting your phone's call logs is absolutely worth doing here too.

Hello @Helloyou123 ,
Welcome to the community,
Only if you have paid to have itemised calls, will your partner be able to see what calls you have made and received, as they are on your phone, which I suspect you do not give him permission to see. They are in your call log where you make calls, so I would suggest not allowing the person to look at your phone.

Thanks. He pays the phone bills so I have no access to see if it is itemised. I can delete the logs from my phone itself (I shouldn’t have to buy that’s just my life I guess) .
I don’t mind him seeing my outbound calls as I never talk to anyone but my friend called me and I answered her which I shouldn’t have done and never normally do .
Will he see that I answered this call on a bill or do the bills only show the outbound calls?
I’m hoping to buy myself my own phone and get out of the relationship somehow soon.

@Helloyou123 , I do not know about inbound calls, sorry, but good for you to get out of the relationship as soon as possible, but be careful, hopefully you will be able to do this without too much difficulty, good luck.

Inbound call logs are only available on your phone, not on any billing.
Consider sourcing an alternative phone in the meantime.
