Hi, I’m contacting you about my bills this August
My latest bill (09 Aug, was £112.25, which is higher than expected. Looking at the breakdown:
1. Monthly charges were £58.00 instead of the usual £29.00 - this appears to be two months’ charges combined (09 Jul-08 Sep). Can you confirm why two months were billed at once?
2. £83.25 in “out of allowance” charges, mostly from calls to Nigeria and repeated calls to 0844 (7 calls on 3-4 Aug). I’ve confirmed the Nigeria calls were me calling family, but I don’t recognise the 0844 number and would like this checked.
My bill shows £0.00 due and “already paid,” yet my service is currently restricted (no calls/texts) with a message asking for part payment. Please can you tell me:
• The exact spend cap balance causing this restriction
• Why service is restricted despite my bill showing as paid
• Whether my mobile data is still active during this restriction
I’d appreciate this being resolved quickly as I’m currently unable to make calls or send texts. Thank you.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @Obeyisandra
You'll need to speak to EE CS on 150 about the restrictions and billing.
Search the 0844 number online to establish who it belongs.

Thanks
