I have had a call from the above number today offering me a upgrade at a very good price, but i had spoken with an agent last week about my upgrade and said they couldn’t do anything to help me regarding lowering my price plan till my conrract ended. Is the above number a genuine EE number? Thanks

I had a call from the same number today too. They started by asking if they're speaking to 'my name' then a minute later asked me to confirm my name which they already knew. I spoke to EE on an online chat & they confirmed the call WAS NOT from them.

Thanks for letting us know @Bean69

You can report this call to EE if you text 'CALL' to 7726 followed by a space, then the number that called you, we use the data collected to help protect all of our customers.

Leanne.

I have reported the number by doing what you said. The guy was really suspicious. He said he was from EE and asked me "why did i ring yesterday". I said "surely you'd know why", and he replied "well I can find out but it's quicker you tell me". I don't want to be contacted by third parties, especially ones who lie saying they are form EE. How do I opt out of EE sharing my information to these companies? FYI i signed up to have a second mobile eSIM and signing every contract I never click contact by phone, just post if there's an option.
