Friend has offered to buy my phone i was supposed to return after upgrade

Morning.

Have just upgraded 14 pro max & supposed to return my 13 pro max or £630 will be added to my next bill.

A Friend has offered to buy the phone i was supposed to return. Are there any issues If I don't send it back & sell to my mate apart for the £630 I have to pay?

@Hoppy100  If you don’t send it back you’ll get that £630 added to your bill that’s all.   Also if you got a trade in discount on your new tariff you’ll also not get that discount.
