Somebody took a phone out using a address I lived in 9 years ago ,they took it out with a incorrect surname in 2014 , EE have no record of the contact but have been taking £27 a month out of my account for thr last 9 years , there has been no activity on my phone ,no contact to myself over this period of time .The reason I never questioned the money coming out as I thought it was my wife’s phone ,it turns out she had been paying her EE phone from another bank account . I check with EE and there HAS BEEN NO ACTIVITY ON THIS PHONE FOR 9 YEARS SINCE 2014.This fraud has been reported to the police ,my bank recalled six years payment from EE and they are now trying to snatch this back ,I went into the EE store this week and they assured me that the account will be frozen unitill they investigate the matter and if this can not be resolved I can take this matter up with the official ombudsman.
The ombudsman says I need to try and resolve this with EE first before taking the case up with them .
I can not receive a reply from EE about this matter ,they offer me £160 refund over the phone ,I require all funds repaying to my account
