Final bill for EE broadband

jaiph
Visitor

I cancelled my broadband on Monday last week and just about to send the router back today. I left my contract 7 months early. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what my final bill is likely to be if my monthly cost is £32.13? Is there an early termination charge on top of that? Also do you get the final bill after the 30 days once the contract has ended or could it be anytime up until that point?

Just trying to figure how how much to leave in the bank to cover it all. I can't call EE and ask atm because I'm at work and not allowed to make personal calls.

Thank You.

@jaiph   £32.13 X 7 =£224.91.  This is rough estimate because it’s purely based on the figures you stated it’s not down to the day.

@jaiph :

 11. d. The early termination charge or minimum term add-on early termination charge is calculated as
follows:

i. the sum of all outstanding charges for the service for the remainder of your minimum term,
factoring in any recurring monthly discount to which you are entitled, calculated at a daily rate;
ii. minus VAT at the prevailing rate;
iii. minus costs we save as a result of you leaving early, such as wholesale costs where applicable;
iv. minus a further 1%; and
v. with VAT at the prevailing rate added onto that final amount.
