Extra charge

I’ve been charged £34 extra for changing my DD date.
So technically I’m being charged for 2 bills within ONE month. Is this right or even legal?

I very much doubt you were charged specifically for the act of changing your payment date. It's technically your bill cycle that changes, the payment date follows from that.

What is far more likely, is that with a change of bill cycle, the dates for which you make advance payments have changed. Check the dates on your bill, and if you have been double-charged for any specific period of time - that would be an issue.

Hi @Abia14

Welcome to the Community.

I know you'll be eager to see what the extra charges are for on your bill, and I'm disappointed to hear the call cut off when you were speaking with the team about this. Please call back when you have some time, and I'm confident one of our Guides will be able to help further.
