Early Upgrade 100 days

Hi, my contact runs out in January 2024 but it says if I'm within the last 100 days I can upgrade early.

My current plan says I can upgrade early for £134 but I read that if my new plan is higher than my current plan that there won't be any upgrade fees.

I tried adding a higher plan into my basket but it still asked me to pay the £134.

I'm really lost, please help lol

Hello @Ldsmith378.

If there is no option for you to upgrade free of charge to a higher plan I would recommend giving our upgrades team a call on 150.

Katie 🙂

I did this and was basically told this is not true.

So, if you are within 100 days of your contract you DO have to pay an early upgrade fee.

Very misleading and I wasted 30 mins on the thinking I'm getting an upgrade!

Even the lady on the upgrades team confirmed I could get the new Pixel 8 pro and not have to pay the early upgrade fee but then at the end of the call was told she cant get rid of it!

Think EE need to update their website

I know I'm a bit late in answering but what you read is true as I done this last time I was due an upgrade.  You just have to call them up and explain that your within 100 days of your contract ending.  And they will sort it for you.  Hope this helps.
