END OF CONTACT

I currently have a mobile from EE on contract until November 2025. My current mobile usage (24 month agreement) ends on 30th October 2024. I pay for the mobile contract and Usage separately. I want to move the mobile usage to a different provider, however a representative from EE states that the 2 are linked and can't be separated. This is at variance from my potentially new SIM provider who states that OFCOM have ruled that these restricted practices are no longer allowed. The potentially new SIM provider said that they had ceased this practice some time ago. Who is right? Advice please

@mthestrong  and how long is your device contract for still ?  With a flex tariff providing you’ve completed your Airtime tariff you are free to change networks providing you keep paying off your device contract if you took it out over 36 months.  You must complete the airtime contract first if you do not you’ll be required to pay off the remaining balance of the device contract if this is a 36 month contract.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

You may port your no. to your new provider on or after 30 Oct. I should request your PAC from EE a day or 2 beforehand & give it to the new provider.
