I was abroad and lost my sim. I contacted EE on call from abroad to request an E sim but they told me that I was on a pay as you go and could only get a physical sim which was not possible since I was abroad. I was told that I can convert to a contract and then request an E sim. I was put on a contract but the guy then requested an OTP and I told him I literally do not have the sim. He then told me he cannot give me the E sim and he converted me back to pay as you go that exact moment and I was told that if any money is deducted it will be sent back to my credits. I came to the uk and got my replacement sim and changed my provider and now suddenly all £373 have been deducted from my account. This is extremely frustrating and I want it to be fixed right now. I was literally told that no money would be deducted and I was on a contract for hardly 3 minutes.

I'm sorry to hear you've received an unexpected bill @notdanishh
Have you been in touch with Customer Care to discuss it?

Hi,
I have been in touch with them and they have said that I will get a refund within a week.
I hope it doesn't take longer.
