@MCP3 : You'll only get VAT receipts if you're in a business contract.

Are you not legally bound to provide VAT invoices as you are including VAT and are VAT registered ?

@johnyb33 : But are you VAT registered? If not, EE is not obliged to issue you with VAT receipts. If you are you need to be on a business a/c, not a consumer a/c.

I've just noticed my bills now don't show the VAT amount. Really unhelpful EE...

So if I do switch to a business account, do my contract/addons etc stay the same (I currently get Discovery+ as a free add-on) or do I need to start a new contract on a business tariff and loose Discovery+?

I cant agree their as what happens when you are buying say a new kitchen does not the contractor hand you a VAT bill. In any case I have spoken to other providers and who say its no problem and in fact have since spoken to EE who have agreed on the phone to send back dated VAT invoices  whether that transpires is another matter as EE dont have a track record of keeping promises as far as I am concerned .

If VAT is included then they are obliged to provide it and I bet that a business acccount is more expensive .

Justb to add to my earlier comment my broadband is partially paid by my Company as I work from home so like other expenses I submit VAT receipts ranginmg anything from spare parts tools etc and these MUST be VAT receipts so why should EE be  different to everyone else ???

Hello @FTP300w ,

Welcome to the community,

I would suggest you speak to customer service about that, but I suspect it should stay the same, but they will be able to let you know.

Hello @johnyb33 ,

Welcome to the community,

I would suggest you either discuss this with customer service or take a look at business deals to see what you get and how much it costs for a business account.

They do not have to provide VAT in a personal account if you need VAT, then you will have to go with a business account or discuss it with them.
