Hi, I'm on sim only.

I get calls plus 40gb and roaming for £18.80, how do I get it cheaper?

@JonHiggens  I very much doubt you will.   You’ll not get anything close that amount of data for that price.   Plus if roaming is included with that tariff you’ll loose that as roaming is charged at £2.29 per day in the EU or you purchase the roam abroad add on at £25 per month when needed.

I should have mentioned that I don't ever use much more than 5gb, also,
regards the roaming, there is a Vodafone deal I've just seen for £8 that
has 30gb and roaming. I'll try to send u a link from uswitch.

A U-Switch deal may well include a cashback element, such that the monthly plan price is higher. This negates a like-for-like comparison.

All is a moot point if you're still within your minimum term.
