I had a 24month contract for my phone which ended in feb 2022, I’ve been paying around £50 a month for the 2 years. However, after my contract ended the price I pay per month never changed?
I was expecting it to go down as after the 2 years my contract would have ended and I should only be paying for the sim, right?
can someone advise me?

@Kati649 : These mobile contracts don't just end, just the min. term expires. They are not fixed term contracts. After the min. term they just carry on at the same price on a rolling 30-days' notice basis until you explicitly cancel or upgrade. There will however be a 10% discount after 3 months.
EE has no concept of paying off the handset. You agreed to pay the same price for the full duration of the contract. You may always choose to upgrade your contract to a cheaper SIM-Only contract from the last 45 days of your contract term.

Unfortunately that’s not how it works because when you agreed to the contract it would of included a tariff and a handset price hence the £50, so after the contract ended in February 2022 you should of then either upgraded to a newer phone or upgraded to a sim only deal and as you would of used it in your old phone you could of got something a lot cheaper.
