Contract loyalty add-on charges

My current 24 months SIM plan @£24.68 is supposed to expire in Early June.

But when I check the plan details today and so scaring for the results comes out that it has been changed to a new plan for 12 months and had been activated on 25-May-2024 with the following details:

20GB data at £40 monthly.

With 6 add-on which includes 2 cannot be removed items of £20/month Loyalty Add-on and the £5/month Loyalty Add-on respectively.

I don’t know what is it about? Will those Loyalty Add-on items charge on my bill?

Please kindly advise.

@101013  this tariff has a total of £25 off these are the 2 loyalty discounts so the price is £15 but if you haven’t upgraded then you should still be on the old tariff until you upgrade.   You need to call customer services about this.  You get a 14 day cooling off period.

If you also know nothing about this upgrade I highly recommend you change your EE password and set up 2 factor authentication on your account.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

As you said those 2 mentioned Loyalty Add-on items of £20 & £5 are monthly discounts. And may I know that the next bill for that £15 including VAT or not?

Besides, I did contact 150 CS on last Saturday 25 May 2024 morning at 8am and the CS officer promised to help me cancel that subscription and told me that the cancellation will be activated on Monday 27 May 2024. He said that I can be free to terminate my current 24-months contract without any charges the period of 28 May 2024 to 8 June 2024. If after that period without any termination requested, then EE will renewal of the contract automatically.

However, when I text 150 queries about the termination on Monday 27 May and Tuesday 28 May 2024. Both of them were showing that I’m enjoying the discounts items and will be charging me for over £170 if I terminate the contract.

I don’t know what wrong with the cancellation that couldn’t be done and no one told me about the failure of the cancellation.

Other staff including you from EE advise me to contact 150 CS again for cancellation within the cool off period. Can any other member of EE able to help me with this matter instead of calling the 150 CS again, please? Because the 150 CS’s promises to get it done are not working according to my case. Soon will be expired of the cool of period now.

EE seems done nothing to help me in this case and don’t let me leave.
I wish I could be with EE but according to my current financial issues and have to make that difficult decision for leaving EE at this struggling time. Please kindly help me through this difficult situation.

As I just said all consumer prices must include VAT by law. Why keep asking?

Thanks for your responses.

Other than that, may I know is there any solution for the left behind question that I raised earlier today regarding the termination of the agreement and contract with EE, please?

Please kindly advise if I could get help with this matter.

 Thank you.
