My airtime plan is up next month but my still have a year on my phone plan.
I saw another chat saying people had gone round in circles trying to change to sim only while still paying off the device and in the end found it can not be done.
I've been with EE since 2009 and due to changes of income I was planning on changing to a sim only to save money while still paying the device off but obviously that isn't possible so will be leaving EE as that is a ridiculous.
Can anyone advice how to go about cancelling my airtime plan and moving to a different phone provider while still paying the device and preferably keeping my number?
TIA

@AAlexandra01 you most certainly can’t change to a different Sim only once you’ve completed your Airtime contract and continue paying for the device contract. if you want to change providers you cannot do this whilst you’re still in your Airtime contract period. Because if you do you require to pay off the remaining contract for your device. You just text PAC to 65075 to move your number to a different network. Make sure you have completed your airtime contract before you use the PAC to move your number. You’ll continue paying for the device for the remainder of that device contract.

@AAlexandra01 , try ringing customer service and see if they can change your plan, once the two years are up, you cannot do it online, but would have to speak to customer service, they may be able to change it.
