Cancelling contract when I'm not the account holder

Hi,

My dad has suffered a very serious stroke, leaving him unable to speak. I would like to cancel his EE contract as he is unable to use his phone, so it feels a bit wasteful.

However, as I am not the account holder, and he is unable to speak on the phone to EE customer support, I haven't been able to do this.

Is there any way to cancel the direct debit via a different means? I have proof of his identity etc.

Thanks in advance for your help!
