My phones contract ended in March, I forgot to contact and it so it rolled over to April, but I have called and written to them? But have yet to receive any letter or email to say that they will be cancelling the direct debit, do I just stop that myself or wait? Ideally I don’t want to be paying for another month now as this month it shouldn’t be coming out I was told when I called, but looking on my online account it doesn’t say anything about my final bill or about my contract ending?

@Justjoe  I recommend you call customer services to confirm that your contract is terminating when it should.  You won’t see anything on your account about this.  Do not just stop your direct debit payments just yet wait until you know for sure that your contract has been terminated and then still give it another month after that just in case EE actually owe you something.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Justjoe Have you got a new SIM with another network?

If you don't want to port your number and want to cancel, get a STAC from EE and give this to your new network and you will stop paying immediately. However as @Chris_B wisely says, never cancel the DD until you are sure nothing else is owed.
