Billing after upgrade

I paid my last bill on July 23rd of £131 I upgraded on the 3rd of august and a new bill is 1 payment of £56 and 2nd payment of £23 both due on the 23rd of every month. When I go to pay my new bill it says that the 1st payment of £56 has already been paid and now have to pay the reaming £23, I haven’t made a payment for the 1st bill and have no receipt of paying it. Is this an error or could I possibly be on credit? If so, how do I check. Thank you

@Kiaselway23  You pay pro rata for contracts so it’s very possible that your £131 bill payment covers part of your new upgrade phone  bill.   I would give customer services a call to check as there is no access to your account from here.
