Hi there I would like to know why my phone bill has went up to £80+ this is ridiculous I started at paying £54 am sure it was a month and it went up to £64 in a year and I was ok paying it but in the space of a month going up to £80+ is a joke worst case scenario I will cancel my contract and I will be expecting lost of my money back because that’s a joke. Claiming that I have went out of my contract when it’s unlimited hours data and minute and I haven’t went out the country or anything. I want this sorted now!

Just give me my money and cancel my contract I’ll give you the phone back.

@Megankelvin   Vat has been at 20% for a long time now in fact I don’t remember a time when it wasn’t   Not sure where you got 9% from.

I’ve just had to Google this out of curiosity and it changed to 20% from 17.4% in January 2011.  So again where are you getting 9% from.

If you’ve got out of allowance charges then your obligated to pay it as per your contract T&Cs

your contract allowance doesn’t cover chargeable calls/texts or any purchases you make via your phone bill.    If you have called abroad ( not a uk number) at any time there is a charge.  If you call a premium rate number there is a charge.    I recommend you actually look at what you’ve been charged for on your bill.

To terminate your contract you’ll have to pay off that contract to the minimum term date and any other charges you have incurred.   Giving the device back doesn’t come in to it.    To do this you’ll have to call customer services and give 30 days notice of termination.  You’ll then been billed the remaining term of your contract that you’re obligated to pay.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I have not been abroad in like 2018 or something maybe longer and I have looked at my bill and it’s showing payment from things I’ve purchased from apps am not stupid so for the last time just end my contract and give me my money back even if it’s just the pass year I don’t see why you cant just do that.

Hi @Megankelvin,

What were you advised when you called?

Were the extra charges on your bill genuine?

James

I’ve not called am not using any my minutes or date because I don’t want to pay for it. It can’t be that hard for it to be cancelled and get my money back.

Hi @Megankelvin,

There is no charge to call Customer Care and you can also chat with the team online. They will be able to access your account and take a look at your bill for you.

Hope this helps.

James

You have agreed to a minimum contractual term and your pricing is based on that. Cancelling within your minimum term will incur early disconnection fees.

It would help to be clear on what your additional charges are for, understanding the cause of the charges would help avoid bill shock in the future.

Ok so it says “third party charges, credits, refunds and rewards.” And under that it says AppStore then it’s showing all the payments from apps for example coin master. There is 6 payments I made on apps and that is what’s added the extra money that is what it says and that is what I see so why am I having to pay more money for it when I never been before. Please explain that.
