Bill query, Adding another mobile to My contract

Hi, So i started a new contract about January and pay the two D/debits so I know how much I pay every month. I got the same phone for My Son Last month and the first bill came off yesterday.  I pay £34 every month, and My sons contract is £38pm. I have a  EE device payment of £38 and EE Limited which must be contract but it is £72.15. will Me and my sons D/Debits joined, or separate? He will be giving me the money for His contract but how do  know what He has to pay this month? His number and mine show the same amount. And why is the temp number still showing in the bill?

If you ordered your son's phone in your name under your EE a/c you will only get 1 combined bill covering both of them & so there will be only 1 DD. Each amount will be itemised in the combined bill's breakdown.

I already have two one for contract and one for phone, I cant see where its itemised, You can select both Mine and His number but same amount, But I'm confused at the D/D for £70. Ok, so that is My bill paid for Me and Him this month, I was expecting another two D/D to come off.

It sounds like you have:

  1. An airtime plan for the SIM in your phone.
  2. An airtime plan for your son's phone.
  3. A FlexPay device loan to pay off your phone.
  4. Maybe another device loan to pay off your son's phone.

If 1. & 2. are in your name under the same EE a/c there will be 1 combined bill  & DD for them as I described earlier.

3. & 4. would be separate contracts in your own names & own DDs.

Welcome to the Community, @sstephen

If both of these phones are on FlexPay, you may see up to three separate payments - two device payments for each device, then a third direct debit covering the airtime plans for both these phones.

If it's not FlexPay and just a traditional 24 month contract, you would see a single direct debit for everything.

Like @XRaySpeX mentioned, if you check out your bill in the EE app, this will give you a full breakdown of each number on your account 😊
