Any charges for upgrading before October?

Good afternoon.
When logging in to my EE account, it is suggesting that I am eligible for an upgrade.
My contract doesn't run out until October, so I would like to know if there are any hidden costs/penalties if I was to take the plunge now.

If you text UP to 150 does this show you can upgrade now free of charge?

It says:
"Great news: you're ready to upgrade! Check out ee.co.uk/eeup to see your offers, call us on 150, or find your local store at ee.co.uk/store-finder"
But does not make it clear if there are any penalties for upgrading before October.

If you look at the options online, the basket will show an charge for the device or early upgrade.
If you would like to check this without looking online, please give us a call on 150 🙂
