Hi I have two contracts with EE at the moment. One finish on the 7th sept 23. I want cancel this contract. I have another contract that has over another year on it. Could I transfer first contracts phone number on to the newer contract that still has a year to go. I’m cutting down on expenses and my first number is used for business. Is this even possible?

EE won't port nos. between its contracts. So you need to 1st port your older no. to another network's PAYG using a PAC from EE & then in reverse port it back to your newer contract. This will also have the effect of cancelling your older contract.
You could alternatively move your older contract to PAYG with 30 days notice & then ask EE to transfer the no to your newer contract.
