laptop not seeing EE network

evans21
Explorer

Hi all, I have seen this query a few times in different ways but nothing has helped.

Basically, my laptop (running windows 11) has previously been connected to my EE WiFi, but the last few days it has refused to connect and won't even recognise that my network is there. All other devices in the house connecting fine with no issues (other computers included). The laptop connects fine to phone hotspots and even recognises that there are other networks available (neighbours).

Our network is running from a    Smart hub SH31B

Please advise.

Hi @evans21

How old is your laptop as it sounds like it only connects to 2.4. You can try comparability on you router settings to see if it connects.

Thanks

It's only 4/5 years old.

@evans21 Try wifi disconnect, then do a reconnect to the same wifi once done, set to auto connect to the network, got one Asus laptop that plays silly beggars sometimes, and that is the only way to get it to connect once it starts to act up... May go for weeks no issues, then it just throws a fit!
