interference between EE mesh and Sonos S1

I have recently installed a new EE router and 3 mesh boxes around my property to get good wireless coverage. I have now reinstalled my Sonos S1 kit , 4 items , including a Connect  plugged into the router which feeds the other items on Sonos own wireless network/frequency. When the Sonos is unplugged from the router all the lights on the EE mesh kit are Aqua. As soon as the Sonos is plugged in the lights on the EE mesh kit go orange. This was not the case with the old BT kit ( same set up , just different items). Any body had the same , any suggestions , not so technical myself but seems as tho the two wireless frequencies are interfering / not compatible ????   Jeff

@wildjeff There is no difference equipment wise, do you know what the band frequency of the sonos system is, you could try keep sonos system on, power of the EE router and the 3 smartwifi devices, power up the router first, takes about 5 mins to get there, then one at a time switch on the smartwifi devices, this may make the EE router smart channel change if it see's an issue.

Edit: try that first as after this it will end up getting technical, and you should have a look on the sonos forum to see if something is posted regarding your issue. Do not remember anything jumping out on this forum, but you could search.

Hi,  I recently got a new EE router for 300Mbs. This replaced our older BT router.   The first router they sent frequently disconnected from the internet.   EE replaced the router,  we eventually found out they tested it and it worked fine.

Second router did the exact same thing.   Not happy.  After a lot of phone calls to EE and visits from Openreach EE said it was our Sonos bridge that was causing the problem.   And the bridge should be disconnected.  Really not happy at this stage.

Plugged the Sonos bridge into the back of one of the Wi-Fi extenders EE sent.  Sonos works fine now and the internet connection is stable.
