Ordered wifi enhancer and it worked great for  one evening of gaming. Now greeted  with this on the app, that it is not avaliable.

Just been told by tech support that they have  an issue with the app and WiFi enhancer sometimes not working . Issue with the app is an understatement nothing works consistently on that app. Given the same old boring line of we're working on a fix.

Still happy to take an extra fiver a month for a service that does not work

Joke of a company . Thanks BT for selling me the nightmare of EE Broadband. Getting out of contract now I've just past the 14 days is proving challenging

Slightly confused, be fair @v6villan because just a few moments ago, I setup a WiFi enhancer and was able to go through the whole activation, and have now an option for the Geo filter available...

Not sure why you'd be confused. I didn't say it wasn't working for everyone, just wasn't working for me .

Subsequently had a call from EE tech. My line has an open fault hence its disabled until the fault is fixed by openreach.  When the fault is fixed and closed on my account .WiFi enhancer will be avaliable again.

Apparently fault is not my end but on the open reach network where I live

Have to say  it's a good feature especially  the geo filter. When it worked it was great for connecting to nearby servers on COD and FC24. Had pings on FC24 of 10ms. This is what I see on the EE app now. Although I didn't tell them about a problem with my broadband they told me 😄 Suprise suprise the track the fault link does not work.

So, it's not really that WiFi Enhancer is not working for you but that your BB is down.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Hi ,yes it would appear so. Although broadband wasn't down or even dropping speed . Not once I'd done a factory reset on the hub plus

Not sure what fault EE diagnostics saw when running tests . I'm on up to 500mbs  .  I did a few speed tests from the app yesterday and they were all above 500mbps and my minimum speed guarantee of 425 mbps.  I did tell EE tech, I personally didn't think their was a fault but they said their test found an intermittent fault on the openerach side of things. First time I've come across  an ISP who are quite insistent on keeping an engineer visit .

This morning had  an openreach engineer on the doorstep at just gone 8am  . He did tests and found no fault on my line or Open reach External network. .  So woken up early on Saturday for no reason 😄.

Rang EE tech straight away and they took the open fault status off my account and wifi enhancer is back working

I guess when a fault  is registered it stops wifi enhancer being used.

Does your party chat work when the Geo filter is working as mine keeps on blocking out people? I’m trying to talk to
