Received this but why only a 3 day window? I didn't set it up in 3 days as not available to do it.

Hi,

Please finish setting up your EE ID. Just tap Create EE ID and add a password.

You have three days from the date of this email to do this. If you don't, you'll need to visit My EE and set up a new account.

Thanks,
The EE Team

I would say straight away that it is most likely for security purposes.

They leave the time frame for you to complete it wide open, or have no time limit at all, then whose to say that it would actually be you filling in the details and having access to your EE account etc.

Done like this mostly everywhere already, just look at OTP that you get sent to your phone or email that are time limited, or the randomly generated code from your own authentication app that resets itself after a set time, for example.

I do not subscribe, so please do not always expect a reply.

I can understand it for banking transactions etc but I don't think an EE id is going to be financially risky.

Wondering if I'll receive the invite again now the 3 days has passed
