Unlimited data mobile SIMs

Having mobile broadband states that you can have unlimited data mobile SIMs. In the important information it states:
New and re-contracting EE broadband customers can add unlimited data mobile SIMs from just £10 a month (for SIMs with capped speeds of 10Mbps)
Does that mean the unlimited data is only for SIMs with capped speeds of 10Mbps? I would like unlimited data on a SIM with uncapped speeds.

These are only for having New EE Full Fibre BB, not for having mobile BB.

These added £10 pm SIMs are capped at 10 Meg. However any existing SIMs of £10 pm or more will be boosted to unlimited data w/out changing their speed cap if any.

If your after Unlimited Data Sims with an Unlimited Speed Cap then you will need to pay for the privilege and it will be considerably mote than £10 pm.

It's also worth pointing out that the UL Data Sims have a FUP of 600gb of Data Use per month, which means the Sim Data is still Unlimited Data but may have Speed Cap after 600gb of use (normally 5G is restricted to 4G untill the Monthly Refresh Date), although in all fairness this is still high speed 4G use on the Unlimited Full Max Plans.

I wasn’t expecting to pay £10 and I don’t need 600GB. I was thinking of something like the 5GB All Rounder Plan for £26 if this offer was applicable instead of getting the 125GB All Rounder Plan for £31. I don’t mind paying the extra £5 but it would be nice if I didn’t have to.

Sorru I missed your reply @XRaySpeX. From what you’re saying I could get the 5GB All Rounder Plan and that will be upgraded to Unlimited data.

But that's not the mobile data offer with New EE BB.

Only if you take New EE Full Fibre BB.

Sorry, but you've thrown the cat among the pigeons by starting your OP with "Having mobile broadband" 😞 .

Sorry that was a mistake. I meant full fibre broadband.

I’ve currently got Sky G.Fast broadband but their systems won’t allow me to upgrade to full fibre. I’ve got a very old EE Sim only plan so I thought I would look at EE full fibre broadband (possibly even switching Sky Q to EE TV as well). That’s when I saw the unlimited data benefit which I saw as an opportunity to get a better SIM only plan for not much more money than I’m currently paying.

There are other sims available, all on a 30-day rolling contract. £13 for 100 Mbps Essentials, £16 for Uncapped Essentials Max and £19 for Uncapped All Rounder with one smart benefit/inclusive extra. Also a Full Works at £28 with 3 smart benefits/inclusive extras.

Sorry to ask this, but how do you actually get this? I can’t find an answer anywhere. I have EE 900mbps broadband and want to switch to EE mobile too. On the app and website just shows them at full price (£30, £33, £36, £39 and £48) and they’re the only plans available. I’ve got right to the end of the checkout without it actually showing the discount and I am very confused.

Hi @stickyyseb

Thanks for coming here.

If you visit Unlimited data unlocked (ee.co.uk) and log in with your existing EE account details, does this show you available plans?

Leanne.
