I have two mobile contracts and fibre through EE I have reported numerous occasions that my broadband goes off when it rains every since installation. I have waited on three occasions for engineers to arrive only to have them cancel after hours of waiting but still charge me. The increase in my bills have risen but my service hasn't I am reaching out for the last time

@Eggbutty : To cancel your EE BB & Home Phone either:

  1. If you no longer want any BB at your location, you phone EE on the Freephone no. (Opt 3) in my sig. and give 14 days notice OR
  2. If you want to migrate your BB to another ISP other than VM or if you're moving to FTTP, you apply to them directly & they'll take care of everything bar your final EE bill.
If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC => 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC => 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC => 2022: EE 80 Meg FTTC (no landline number)

@Eggbutty   alas no one on this forum has accout access or knows what service you have, or what faults you may have raised. Also, unless you move to FTTP or VM you are likley to continue to have the same problems with another ISP. Broadband going off when it rains will carry on unless something changes or the fault is found and rectified.

There are however people on here to help you ensure you get the Broadband Care Team to chase up Openreach and other technical teams.  if you want to give us more details of the issues you are having.. A good place to start, do you use your phone line? If so dial 17070 option 2 - is the line quiet?

What service do you have? Enter your phone number here and post the results, hiding your number - https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL
