I need some help, I've switched my virgin media (out of contract) to EE, but didn't cancel my VM apparently they need 30 days notice. I selected to go live with EE on the 27th of August the same day VM take my direct debit, this morning I contacted VM and told them to cancel my contract. So will I be charged twice? And if so how can I avoid being charged twice?
I could cancel my EE and rejoin to avoid paying VM and EE if you get what I mean or contact CS and have the live date changed to late September?
It's so confusing advice please...

@sKiran You need to go look at Ofcom OTS information, EE your new leading/gaining provider take care off everything, that involves letting VM know you are going to be an EE customer and to hang fire keep the line up and working as a just in case something does not work out or delay's the installation. so YOU DO NOT need to contact VM as they are in the group off companies using and conforming to the OTS, ideally VM should just ignore your call as giving the notice is NOT needed...
Error's and problems arise, double billing happens, refunds get made, etc and EE at the end say ok VM we have the customer now it is safe for you to disconnect!
