Hiya

Thinking of moving to EE FTTP using own router.

I noticed the new router doesn't allow you to split SSID.

With using own router will it allow me to split and rename?

@PAISLEY1903  That depends on the router, most of the ones I know have split bands.

Yes, if it has that facility. Most do. What you do with your WiFi within your home is your concern.

Thank you.  Yes it 100% allows it. Have it that way on current set up. Stupidly I thought I might only be able to split SSID on my own router if the ISP one allowed it 😆
