I was talked into changing to ee broadband from BT (big mistake), earlier this year after contacting BT to get my fibre box moved amd been told it would cost £120, but free if I changed over. My fibre box wasn't moved, which is another story. My issue is that since "upgrading" my broadband from 100 to 500, I have received the worse service since we were all on dial up.. my Internet keeps lagging,I've had 3 engineer visits, 1 saying there is a fault on the line and the others saying no issue. Yet when watching football it looks like I'm illegally streaming it from the moon. I've raised numerous complaints with the reassurance that someone will contact me to discuss but each time my case has beeb closed without any contact.
An engineer advised me to get a WiFi booster but I refuse to pay for something extra when it is supposed to be better than what I had before.. really wish I could cancel but because they " can't find any fault" I'm now tied to an useless contract for another 20 months..

@Syd73 Depending on where the router is to the TV it could be your home that is causing the issue. Depending on the location of the router in your home and being near other electrical items can cause WiFi issues. Can you give more information on location of the router to the TV. I’m also sure you can get a free WiFi repeater if you have WiFi issues. It might just be a case of switching off the router for 30+ seconds and restarting.

Firstly was the TV working ok before you upgraded from 100 to 500Mb ?
Have you tried a hard wired ethernet connection to the TV to see if that works better, as I suspect its a Wi-Fi issue casing your problem
How far away is the router from the TV ? . Do you get get good Wi-Fi signal when only a few feet away ?
