I recently changed Broadband provider to EE and, as part of the switch my old provider contract breakage fee, has been credited back by EE. Where exactly does this credit sum sit and, how can I access it please?

It will be held as credit on your EE a/c to be used against future bills. If you want it back in your hands you need to call CS to refund it back to your normal method of payment.
