Messing About With Order

Hi, before I psych myself up to spend the next three days on hold, would anyone know why EE keep 'messing' with my Broadband Upgrade order? It's been cancelled and re-ordered several times as far as I can see (apparently at my request - which is simply not true!). It's not due until next month so I guess there's no delay at the moment, I just can't figure out the purpose of this behaviour. Also, why are they so keen for me to send back gear that they never sent me in the first place (it's old pre-EE BT Gear). I mean they are welcome to it, it won't be of much use to anyone I suppose, but I don't really appreciate the at least three reminders to send it back or the threat of being charged £100+ will rain down upon me. Besides, I'm still using it, and will be until they install the fibre gear. The mixture of random behaviour and outright aggression is a little unnerving and possibly a bit unhinged!

For the most part I'm quite happy with EE.
So, seriously people, don't alienate me, I'm an okay guy.

@NotGaz There is really not much you can do, it's all automated from the start to the finish, delay's happen in the real life scenario with Installations but system seems not able to deal with those! Just hang on to what you have until you are all happy and working well!

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker > Address Checker estimate for your address? Post the whole table, the text below it and the line above it, blanking out your address.

Fibre to premises is available.

Okay great so this is just some automated system without any sense of subtlety or nuance.
I think I can accept this as it makes the most sense 🤣

I need to see more than that. It might v. well be available with hindrances.
