Long delay to repair g.fast broadband fault

My broadband went out on Saturday 1st of October. EE could not get an engineer to visit my home until Tuesday the 4th.

After the engineer came I received no communication from EE on the status of the fault. I had to phone them myself and they indicated that the fault will be fixed on the 14th of October! That is two weeks with no broadband effectively.

EE offered no alternative options. We both work from home and use heavy data applications.

Really unhappy with the EE service.

If it is a neighbourhood issue, you could consult BT Service Status to see if any faults are being attended to in your local area.

You may be due for some Automatic compensation

The last time similar happened to me EE gave me data for my EE SIM. It's a good idea to have a mobile router as stand-by.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
