I cancelled my plusnet package in December 2022 due to flooding I had to move out for a year. In preparation for moving back I took out a broadband and landline package with what I thought was BT (plusnet no longer offer landlines). I was told my old landline number was still available and that I could have it. So it was a surprise to find out I was with EE and I had a new number and a non local area code. EE tried to switch for me without success and said I could cancel if I want to. I just feel that someone must know how to get my number back?
