Have the smart hub and the extender, WiFi works great but will randomly crawl to a halt and have to turn off and on both of these and then it kicks in again and is fast, but annoying having to do it every few days any suggestions? Thanks

@Excetto From the other post you also replied on, where are you turning off the 5ghz and 6ghz bands, take it that you also have the Pro version of the Router and Smart wireless devices, and wired or wireless backhaul?

Turning off on the router admin page, and connect via 2.4 to then turn them both on again, which results in full speeds again, and yes I am using an extender the EE one too.
the extender flashes for a little bit and then works sweet again for a few days but it’s a rinse and repeat at the moment

@Excetto What devices do you have that are connecting wirelessly to either the Pro router or the Smart wireless device. And is the router band off/on the only method that kicks it all back into full speed mode. Have you tried just the Extender off to see if the router picks up and goes full speed again.

Appreciate the reply, yes I’ve tried turning off the extender and it’s the router which grounds to a halt, Ethernet is still pulling 1gbps so seems to be an issue with the router it’s self, although I’m not sure why turning the bands on and off would solve it, tried with the extender off and unfortunately it still did it in the end, thanks.

@Excetto The Router has the function of extending All 3 bands to the EE Smart wireless device, along with servicing any other device that connects to any band on any device. If you take the extender out of play, then you only have to deal with the EE Pro router by itself and the other devices, ie mobile, laptop using the 6e bands, as the other posting had wired backhaul, the 6ghz band for the Pro model is the method used for backhauled wireless control, but if you are confident that the Router is the issue, then it's time to get help from EE CS Tech support...

I will test again tomorrow as seen a few posts saying it’s the extender, thanks for your help!
