HP Printer connect to Extender not Hub - can you force it?

I have an HP Printer (Smart Tank 7305) which sits directly underneath my EE Hub, yet connects to the extender in the kitchen.   I need to have the extender in the kitchen so can't switch off,  however as its connection can be flaky my printer often drops off-line and require a reboot.  Is there a way I can force the printer to connect to the hub ( a few feet away) rather than through the house to the kitchen?

Can't you Ethernet it to router?

@Iipboss What EE Hub are you using, does look like the printer may have an Ethernet port hard to say looking at the HP Specs...

The HP Smart Tank 7305 Wireless All-in-One Colour Printer does have an Ethernet port.

@XRaySpeX Thanks, way to go then hopefully no issues connecting it up that way....

Duh!  Yes never thought about a cable but that would solve it!   Thank you

@Iipboss Yes, if it connects fine, you CANNOT wifi band direct a device to a particular node with the EE, they may introduce but for NOW it is not possible....
