Fibre Plus installation

on the last page of the online application for Fibre Plus there was a note saying something like “it looks like a engineer needs to turn up and instal a new cable” which was not expected as I currently have BT Fibre with Halo. I had a long call with  a EE broadband and he said it looked like the EE service would just be activated centrally.

My current phone line comes from a street pole through the loft to a BT box.

Does anyone know what exactly an engineer would need to do?
Thanks

Shouldn't need to do anything at your home as you are moving from BT Fibre.
