i arranged an installation on 21 October for between 8:00 and 1:00 - BT Engineer came and installed phone landline. After set up I my connection on my mobile advised to wait overnight. Waited overnight and no connection. Complained to EE helpline this morning (after first being cut off - twice). Was told that a new installation was needed (no apology). Have recieved an email 'confirming' my original appointment for last Friday!!!!!!!!! Was also told this morning that my £50 installation charge has been waived yet still showing on my bill!

Have recieved an email to say my complaint has been cloised which it clearly hasn't!

What an absolute embarressment! EE and BT  please collect my router from my house and cancel my broadband and mythical installation date!!

Hello @UnhappyEE1 ,

Welcome to the community,

The £50 charge that has been waived, will show on your next bill as a refund, if the bill is due in the next few days, then it will still show there, that is normal, will not happen overnight, but I suspect within the next five days.

The problem you have seems to be Open Reach may not have set it up properly or missed something, unfortunately, as they deal with installations.

This is not customer service, your complaint will have to be with them, nothing can be done here, no account access, this is a public forum. Mistakes can happen, why not give them a chance to put things right first?

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
I have had further bad experiences with EE themselves and am now in a
situation where they appear to be blaming each other. Situation is more
complicated then explained in my original post.

I'm sorry to hear that, @UnhappyEE1

I hope this gets resolved for you soon. Are you still in contact with customer services?
