Expanding in house Wi-Fi signal

Does anyone have any tips on how I can improve the Wi-Fi signal from the EE router to other areas in the house. I currently have a smart tv in the kitchen but due to the poor signal I am unable to use anything other than freeserve. I have looked on the the signal extenders but the choice is endless. Has anyone used one of these, if so any recommendations.

@BlueJay73  You can use any WiFi repeater, Any TP link repeater is good.

I’m looking at a TP-LINK solution for my Smart Router but am confused (a non-techie) when it mentions mesh compatibility I.e. model TL-WPA8631P.  The 30P model appears outdated/end of life.

Is mesh/non mesh an issue to be concerned about ?  Appreciate any clarity. Regards
