I booked for our EE installation in mid December. Great ordering, helpful staff, all booked, kit arrived, kept updated at every stage. Engineer comes on time for slot yesterday. Internal hardware installed quickly and efficiently. Second engineer arrives to link cable across the street to the BT box. They are unable to complete because the telegraph posts have not had the hardware installed that is required. They tell me I'll be updated and leave.
I still don't know what is happening. My current provider will switch off at 23:59 tonight as we were meant to be connected to EE yesterday pm. We'll be left with no broadband which in turn means no TV, no wireless printing etc
Has anyone else experienced this? How did they resolve it?

Why is your current provider due to switch off at 23:59 tonight? Did you cancel with them directly? If you had used the current One Touch Switch process you would have only talked to EE & they would get the other IISP cancelled only when EE was up & running.
What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.
