EE/BT boardband and mobile

So my boardband from bt is due to end in December and my mobile from EE in October since both EE and BT are the same company I was looking for some information. I heard that you can have unlimited data on mobile when you have boardband and mobile from EE. Also I’m not really fussed about full fibre I have fibre to my flat but not in the flat and I’m not really wanting to take the day off for an engineer to visit to fix it. I’m quite happy with my 73mbps 😂. I have also heard you can use a bt router with EE boardband not sure if that’s true. I currently have a 20gb a month on my mobile so unlimited would be nice. Thanks in advance 👍🏻.

Do you know whether you can get Full Fibre where you are? If you can EE won't sell you the partial Fibre that you currently have.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

I can definitely get full fibre but I’m not really fussed about it being faster plus having to be in for an engineer means taking a day off.

@Residentsteven Wither it was the correct way or not this is how i did it, 1. Moved my BB via OTS by signing up online with EE, this cancelled my Sky contract and moved everything across BB wise, no issues, App working Router working Account all working took 21 days in total, once all up and working, phoned O2 got my PAC codes, called the EE shop made an appointment, took the relevant documents and had them setup the mobile side for the 2 phones, same e-mail address, joining the BB/Mobile account correctly so fully from the one EE ID login.

All went smooth, but there are some horrendous connection issue stories dotted about the Forum more so from BT to EE migrations, so best off luck with it all!

EE can provide Full Fibre plans at the same speed as partial Fibre plans, e.g. you could have EE Full Fibre 74 Meg equivalent to what you have now on FTTC. Your issue would seem to be the installation of it which would involve an eng. visit.

@Residentsteven : @JimM11 's situation is not a good prototype for you. He migrated to EE as a new cust. from outside the BT Group. You will be moving from BT for which diff rules apply.
